The company was initially established under the name “Rahavard Tamin Chemical Company” on November 1, 2004 (11 Aban 1383 in the Persian calendar) as a private joint-stock company and registered with the Tehran Companies Registration and Industrial Property Office under registration number 233566.
Pursuant to amendments made to the company’s Articles of Association, and in accordance with the resolution passed at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on July 15, 2012 (25 Tir 1391), the company’s name was changed to “Rahavard Tamin Pharmaceutical Company.” Simultaneously, the phrase “various pharmaceutical dosage forms” was added to Article 2 of the Articles of Association (defining the company’s scope of activities). These amendments were officially published in the Official Gazette No. 19730 dated November 27, 2012 (7 Azar 1391).

Its manufacturing facility is situated in Saveh County, Kaveh Industrial Town, 18th Street.
Currently, the company operates as a subsidiary of Tamin Pharmaceutical Investment Company.
According to Article 2 of its Articles of Association, the company’s scope of activities includes:
Manufacturing and packaging of various pharmaceutical dosage forms, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and chemical substances for cosmetic, hygiene, and related products; procurement and supply of all necessary materials, equipment, machinery, and devices—both domestically and internationally; marketing and sale of its products and the outcomes of its research and technologies in domestic markets and export abroad; participation in, investment in, and acceptance of investment from domestic and foreign companies through share subscription or acquisition; and undertaking any industrial, commercial, financial, or trading activities directly or indirectly related to the aforementioned objectives.
